After winning the previous two games of the weekend series, the third-ranked Duke Blue Devils went for a road sweep over the nineteenth-ranked Clemson Tigers. The game was scoreless through four innings until a Kelly Torres single drove in the first run of the game. The next batter, Claire Davidson drove in the second run with a single to center. After Clemson cut the lead to 2-1, Duke scored four runs in the seventh to all but clinch the victory. Davidson finished the game going 3-4 from the plate with three RBI and a run scored. Duke's Cassidy Curd was the winning pitcher, going four innings giving up no runs, three hits, and striking out six. Jala Wright got the save, striking out three in three innings and giving up a run.
