NBA props for Monday March 4: And then along came Jones

We closed the week with some nice profit on Friday, a 3-1 record. Ty Haliburton was held scoreless (which was shocking) but once again Brandon Ingram's scoring was good and under-considered players like Ayo Dosunmu and Toumani Camara came through on the boards. The results have been pretty good since the All-Star break.  We are probably not "there" yet but it is going to help offset the latter part of the first half.

For tonight we have six games in the NBA. The highlight is the Clippers visiting Milwaukee, though you do have to wonder how much L.A. values it after last night's one-point win in Minnesota.

NBA Props for Monday, March 4

Tyus Jones Over 10.5 Points (+100) — Wizards vs. Jazz, 9 p.m. ET

This is a buy-low spot on Jones, who has been under this prop in four of the last five games. Those were all against playoff-caliber teams and that is not the case tonight against Utah, who is 26th in points allowed. Jones is averaging 12 ppg for the season so even a "below average" game can get a decent payoff.

Alex Caruso Over 1.5 Three Pointers (+130) — Bulls vs. Kings, 10 p.m. ET

I know he is not considered a sharpshooter but he is making 38% for the season and has shot it really well lately. He has made at least a couple of shots from deep in four of the last five games and I like the matchup against Sacramento to give us more than enough shot volume. The Kings are last at defending the three and play with pace. That is hard to ignore.

Josh Giddey Over 3.5 Assists (+105) — Thunder vs. Lakers, 10:30 p.m. ET

The emergence of Jaylin Williams (hopefully I got the right one) has forced Giddey to take on an adjusted role for the Thunder. He is still a very versatile player though and this number is below his seasonal averages. OKC just had a big win last night against Phoenix but he was not much of a factor. His minutes were low but they might lean into him more tonight.

Ayo Dosunmu Over 3.5 Rebounds (+110) — Bulls vs. Kings, 10 p.m. ET

Yes, this is the same bet I was talking about in the intro. It cashed last time so I checked it out again and it has dropped from +120 to just +110, but that is still a payoff range I like. Plus, tonight the Bulls are playing the Kings and all of those extra possessions should help us cover easily on this rebound prop again. Dosunmu has been paying off in a starting role as the markets struggle with how to project him.
