Bradley Beal Still Confident in the Suns Despite 0-2 Start to Series vs. Timberwolves

Beal, who scored 17 points but shot just 6/17 from the field in Game 2, thinks that the best is about to come for the Suns, who will be hosting Minnesota in Games 3 and 4 this coming Friday and Sunday, respectively.

Bradley Beal on the Suns falling apart again in Game 2: “We’ll be better, man. Everybody wants to be perfect, I think everybody wants to win. I think we’re pressing a little bit. And I think now we can settle down, go home and just get back to playing the way we know we can.”

If Beal and the Suns are to flip the narrative and turn things around in the series, they will need him and Devin Booker to start shooting more efficiently. Beal is averaging just 14.5 points on only 44.4 percent shooting from the field in the first round. Booker, on the other hand, is putting up 19.0 points per game but has made only 37.9 percent of his field goal attempts and 25.0 percent of his shots from behind the arc.

Those numbers are not ideal for the Suns, who have been leaning so much on Kevin Durant, who is leading Phoenix against the Timberwolves with an average of 24.5 points per outing on an excellent 53.1 percent shooting percentage.
