C.J. Stroud's Magical Rookie Season Will Continue in the Playoffs
USA TODAY Sports

It didn't take long for the Houston Texans to realize they landed a gem in quarterback C.J. Stroud, the No. 2 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft.

The rookie out of Ohio State has flashed superstar talent throughout his entire first season in the NFL, and now, he'll get to do it in the playoffs.

Stroud was masterful yet again in Saturday night's win-or-go-home regular-season finale, leading the Texans to a 23-19 road win over the division-rival Indianapolis Colts, punching a ticket to the postseason.

Houston is guaranteed a wild-card spot in the AFC bracket, and if the Jacksonville Jaguars lose their finale Sunday, Stroud and the Texans would be AFC South champions and the No. 4 seed in the playoffs.

I mean, just look at some of the throws he made Saturday night:

Stroud and the Texans are just getting started, and that's a dangerous reality for the rest of the NFL.
