Watch: Michael Thomas' first TD of the season almost defies physics

There's a reason New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas goes by "cantguardmike" on Instagram, because, for a while, no one could guard the receiver who shattered the single-season receptions record with 149 in 2019.

On "Thursday Night Football," against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Thomas — who has had his productivity dampened by injuries in recent years — reminded the NFL that he is still here and in fact still has those same catch-making abilities.

With just under seven minutes to go in the fourth quarter, quarterback Derek Carr found Thomas in the end zone. The score helped the Saints cut a Jacksonville Jaguars lead that was once 15 points down to two points.

The touchdown was Thomas' first of the year, and on the ensuing two-point conversion attempt, Carr found running back Alvin Kamara to tie things up at 24.
