Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi believes coach Max Allegri will stay.

Moggi feels Juve's board are fully behind Allegri for next season.

He told Radio Bianconera: "I'm pleased that Juve have moved to defend him.

"They did what I did with Carlo Ancelotti at the time. Juventus have valorised Allegri's work. I am satisfied with what Juventus did, because they said that Allegri is valorising young people, who can form the basis of the team of the future.

"Furthermore, he said that Juventus is third in the standings and aims to the objective of the Italian Cup. That's how it's done. Then, at the end of the year, it could be another story. Juventus is condemned to always win due to history and tradition, but there is a limit to everything.

"When could a winning Juventus return? This is a problem that is still far away. Juventus is behind the result, but not the other teams. Italian football is only good for us. Then when we go abroad, our teams get two slaps and are sent back."
