Otto Porter Jr., the versatile forward with a career spanning over a decade across five NBA teams, has decided to retire, as confirmed by a Jazz press release.

Shortly after it was announced the Utah Jazz would waive Otto Porter Jr., it was reported that the 30-year-old announced his retirement. Porter Jr. made a statement about his retirement, citing his “body” as a major reason for his decision: For the past 11 years, I had the chance to live my lifelong dream of playing in the NBA,” Porter said.
Otto Porter Jr., who was part of the Golden State Warriors’ 2021-22 championship run, is calling it a career. He last played for the Utah Jazz and was actually set to be waived by the team.
